Cons of This Method:


You can only back up and restore the whole device, and not selective parts of the data like you can with D-Port Pro.


You have to download the larger CopyTrans control center just to use the free functions. (The other features in the control center cost money to use.)

The Dr. Fone iOS Data Backup & Restore Tool is very similar to D-Port Pro, though it does have a few differences. It lets you back up all of the data from your device quickly without any data loss. It also lets you extract pieces of the backup and restore them selectively or export them to your computer. It also has a wide variety of file types that you can export.



Like CopyTrans Shelbee, it has its own limits. The main issue is that it is not as simple as D-Port Pro, though it does allow you to backup your whole device in a single easy click.

It supports the ability to export data in .csv, .html, or vcard formats.

Cons of This Method:


You have to download the entire Dr. Fone toolkit. This is a complex tool with many different functions, and this can be a hassle if you simply want to use it for its backup and restore functions.
